Our focus is minimizing the effectiveness of safety emergencies such as active shooters, and armed intruders and threats to you or your employees.

    • The who, what and where of workplace violence
    • Effects and risk factors of violent situations
    • Prevention strategies for workplace safety
    • Managing the consequences of violent acts

    Workshop Summary

OSHA Inspections & Safety in the Workplace

All employers are required to provide their employees a safe and healthy workplace. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is authorized to conduct workplace inspections and investigations to determine whether employers are in compliance with the standards they set forth. And they don't just limit their inspections to the construction industry!

This workshop will provide you with the basics of OSHA record-keeping, an understanding of how to avoid the most common OSHA violations, tips for using proactive and cost-effective safety measures, and smart ways to prevent accidents from happening. In addition, you’ll find out exactly what you need to do should an OSHA inspector show up at your workplace.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Basics of OSHA compliance
    • OSHA recordkeeping requirements
    • Step by step process for when OSHA comes calling
    • Hot spots and how to avoid citations
    • Resources for employers and safety personnel
