    Topic: With healthcare reform preparations for 2014 already under way, it’s important for both large and small employers to understand how this mandate may affect their business.

    The topics to be covered:

    ▪ What the “Play-Or-Pay” mandate is

    ▪ How to determine your large or small employer status

    ▪ What the requirements small employers have come 2014

    ▪ Setting up Measurement and Stability periods for offering coverage (large employers)

    ▪ Understanding the penalties your businesses may be subject to if certain coverage requirements are not met (large employers)

    Speakers: Stacy Hackett is an Account Executive at Great Plains Brokerage, which is the exclusive marketing arm for Sanford Health Plan. Her duties include training and recruiting agents to sell the Sanford Health Plan products including Group, Individual and Medicare in SD, ND, MN and IA. Stacy has been with the Great Plains Brokerage since 2005. Stacy received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

    This program has been submitted for  1.0 hour of general recertification credit by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
