CDHRA Mentorship Program

    Central Dakota Human Resource Association Mentorship Program

    Purpose

    To bring experienced Human Resources professionals together with those seeking more in-depth outlook of the Human Resources profession.

    Who Can Participate

    Any current member of CDHRA

    Mentee

    • Five years or less experience; or
    • An individual with five or more years of experience seeking to gain a broader perspective in the Human Resources profession.

    The mentee will need to ensure their management team approves of the program expectations and time commitment.

    Mentor

    • Ten years or more of progressive human resources experience,
    • Senior certified professional

    Mentee/Mentor Relationship

    • The mentee will drive the mentorship with guidance from the mentor.
    • The mentee will have the opportunity to focus on knowledge, skill and ability level through goal setting and action steps identified with the mentor.
    • The mentee will have one goal requiring more participation in CDHRA.

    Program Commitment—1 year

    • Monthly Meetings (1-2 hours)
      • Mentee will come to meetings prepared with questions and ideas
    • Kick-off Meeting (4 hours)
    • Mid-year Meeting (2 hours)
    • Close out Meeting (2 hours)

    Complete the online application located in the upper left hand column of this webpage by November 3, 2017.

    You will be notified of mentee selection.  If selected, you will also be notified of your pairing with a mentor.
