Communications, Marketing & Technology Committee

Purpose

Promotes awareness of the purpose and actions of the chapter through ongoing communication efforts and branding initiatives, using communication tools. Ensure that business professionals in the community are informed of chapter resources and activities by using various communication tools. Works closely with chapter committees to ensure that the chapter is portraying a consistent and professional image to its members and to the business community.

Responsibilities

• Distributes communication to members and non-members via communication tools to inform human resource professionals of upcoming events, job opportunities, Chapter news, current HR issues, and educational topics
• Maintains the CDHRA website (http://cdhra.shrm.org), working collaboratively with Chapter leadership and committees to keep the website content current
• Promotes CDHRA to serve as a community resource on human resource topics and issues
• Monitors the CDHRA email account
