Today’s meeting presentation has been changed.  The speaker’s flight from Sioux Falls was cancelled this morning, so she would not be able to make it to Bismarck in time for the meeting.  She will be available on July 8th & 9th to present or answer any question you may have regarding healthcare reform.  If you are interested in still seeing her presentation or asking her questions, please email Taylor Schiche at tschiche@billycaspergolf.com.  She would like to set up a time for her to present on July 8th or 9th.

    Today’s new presentation topic is:

Ernst & Young: Creating a Culture of Workplace Flexibility -  As employers increasingly focus on results rather than time spent at the office, workplace flexibility is replacing the one-size-fits-all, 9-to-5 way of working. Family and personal concerns can be major sources of stress. In professional service firms, for example, studies show that well over half of employees can expect to experience some kind of work-family stress in a three-month time period. For these reasons, creating a culture of flexibility is critical to enable people to succeed both personally and professionally

This presentation is delivered by the SHRM Foundation DVD series.   As a group, we will also discuss how our organization is adapting to workplace flexibility within the Bismarck Mandan area.  This presentation has been approved for 1.0 General HRCI credit.

    Apologizes for last minute change.

Don’t forget to bring your cash for a good cause and for a chance to win extra cash for the week.  During each CDHRA monthly meeting, there will be a 50/50 drawing with proceeds being donated to the SHRM Foundation.
