    Program: Identity Theft

Speaker: Kris Evans, Harvard Risk Management Corporation

Identity Theft is currently the fastest growing white collar crime in the country and the risk has never been greater. From employees to customers, there is a major need to educate on all levels and protect sensitive data. In this presentation, participants will learn about the major types of identity theft, as well as how to be more prepared to protect non-public information (NPI). At the conclusion of this course, participants will:

    1.  Have a better understanding of what identity theft is, and how it affects HR professionals.

    2.  Have a better understanding of what to expect if their organization is a victim.

    3.  Understand how to educate employees on protecting company data and safeguarding non-public information (NPI.)
