This meeting will include an overview of the 2018 CDHRA mentorship program, we will hear experiences from the mentors and mentees in the program, and information on the program for 2019.

Then we will move to group table discussions about mentorship programs. Members will come to the meeting prepared to ask questions, share what is working for them, and any new ideas they may have to share with other HR professionals!

    Discussion Questions:

    • Have you had discussions or thought about developing a mentorship program in your organization?
    • What are the reasons you would want to start a mentorship program?
    • How have you gone about starting a program?
    • How do you pair mentees with mentors?
    • What are some obstacles that you are seeing when implementing these programs?
    • Identify success factors resulting from mentorship programs?

At the end of discussion, we will ask the members to share some of the solutions that were shared with the whole group.
