    Topic:

Mind Shift assesses, trains and hires high functioning adults on Autism Spectrum for organizations that require workers to engage in detail-rich tasks.

Hiring individuals with disabilities IS doing the right thing, but maybe not the way you think. Mind Shift works with high functioning individuals on the Autism spectrum to bring the Autism advantage into the world of work. Our “Specialists” will add far more value to your organization than you might imagine and in ways you may not have thought of.

    Speaker:

Margie Gray, Employment Services Director - Mind Shift

Margie's undergraduate degree is in Speech Communication with a minor in Business and her Master’s degree is in Psychology. She has 25 years of practical experience in project management, higher education, and adult training. Her in-depth education in the world of Autism Spectrum Disorder began when her son was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2010. Witnessing how his behavior and obstacles have been misinterpreted and misunderstood has given her a rich context to support adults on the spectrum who are attempting to make their way in the world of work.
