HR Best Practices Roundtable Discussion

| Location: | Bismarck Elks - 900 S Washington St. Elks Lodge in the large meeting room where receptions and dances are held. Members will go through the buffet line in the restaurant and order as much or as little as they want and pay the cashier. Members will bring their tray into the large meeting room where the business meeting and presentation will take place. |

We are planning a HR Best Practices Roundtable Discussion for the May CDHRA meeting on May 28th. Attendees will engage in discussions around the following topics:
- Employee Referral Programs and Other Recruitment Strategies
- Succession Planning Strategies
- Transitioning from the Annual Performance Review to a Culture of Coaching
- Health Insurance Strategies in Today's High Cost Market
We will encourage people to sit in 1 of 4 seating areas or "zones" and have the topic leaders move between them every 10 minutes to lead discussion on their assigned topic.
We would like to have 2 leaders per topic, one of which will focus on taking notes about the ideas discussed. At the end of the rotations, I will use the notes collected to provide a 5-10 summary to the whole group.
This program has been submitted for 1.0 hour of continuing education credit from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
This program has been submitted for 1.0 hour of professional development credit from the Society for Human Resource (SHRM).
