    Succession Planning from the ground up, presented by Arnie Strebe

    Learn the basics of building a succession plan from someone who has built succession plans for five different companies in five different industries.  Arnie Strebe, Chief Administrative Officer/CFO for  the Department of Human Services at the state of North Dakota and author, will talk about the need for succession planning, what it is and isn’t, and what the process looks like. Also, Strebe will share succession planning tools he uses, such as the 9-Box, as well as how to measure, monitor and communicate the process. Leave with dos and don’ts of succession planning and ways to ensure that your efforts minimize the disruption to your business.

    Arnie Strebe is the Chief Administrative Officer/CFO of the Department of Human Services the largest state agency in the state of North Dakota in Bismarck, North Dakota. There, he supports and leads the administrative functions of the Department.  Where he oversees, fiscal, human resources, legal and the communication divisions of DHS.  His focus is to be a servant leader to his team and he focuses on supporting their development.  Arnie worked previously as a bank president, CHRO, Chief Talent and Business Improvement Officer, VP of Manufacturing, VP and general manager of a sales organization to include being the first corporate university president of an internationally recognized learning and development department. Arnie holds a master’s degree in education. Arnie keeps busy as a certified USA Triathlon coach and has completed six Ironman events and last year completed the invite only grueling 3 day Ultra 520k event in Penticton, Canada.  He has also authored a leadership book titled, Zero To Something and serves on many local boards in the Bismarck/Mandan areaHe’s the proud co-director of the YMCA youth triathlon.
