Speaker: Leah Hargrove is the founder and executive director of Global Neighbors, a nonprofit that was born in 2015 out of a desire to better welcome and integrate our New American neighbors.

Leah  will be presenting on how to welcome New Americans into your workplace, and what unique skills and traits they bring to the table. She will also be talking about typical misconceptions and prejudices against New Americans in our community, and how to address them. Finally, she will give a brief talk about how companies and HR departments can get serious about addressing bias in the workplace and hiring process.
