Having Difficult Conversations in the Hybrid/Virtual World

Important conversations are the backbone of management and leadership. Ideally, they need both parties to be engaged, safe, and committed in the dialogue. Difficult conversations are tough at the best of times. In the hybrid/remote world, they are feeling tougher. In this session, we will explore what is happening around important workplace conversations during hybrid/remote working, as well as provide some tips and frameworks that can help us navigate the common challenges faced. It is obvious that hybrid blends of working are here to stay, so finding ways to improve these crucial conversations in any range of environments is necessary.

Brandy Currie is also a certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with a passion for helping people find their calling in leadership and life while encouraging them to raise their leadership lid and grow into leadership roles. As a speaker, Brandy uses real life experiences to connect with others and challenge them to think outside of the box to take the next steps in their personal and professional growth. As a trainer and coach, Brandy provides one-on-one leadership coaching to those looking to step into leadership roles. Brandy has the gift of getting right to the heart of the matter and motivating people to step out of their comfort zone and into their growth zone. Brandy is the Senior Partner of Talent Development at Wipfli LLP and spends her free time chasing her kids to their various activities. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of North Dakota.
