Using an ethnography approach, a purposeful sample of HR practitioners were interviewed to gather data on their experiences with strategy as well as their perceptions of the impact of SHRM membership on this strategic HR positioning. Come learn what their responses revealed after the emergent theme analysis as it relates to strategy and competitiveness using theories from rural small business, strategy, knowledge management transfer, communities of practice, social learning theory and more.
